The "Rash"
In the picture.... you can see the beginning of what has become a nightmare! First it started on my arm... then my neck, back, legs, and feet. Mark and I thought it was jellyfish at first... but now, we think its some plague from the Caribbean.

The Caribbean LIFE
The Caribbean LIFE
Ya know when people from an island talk all "eh- mahn!" Just imagine that but times a million. You literally can't understand a lick of what those people are saying. Other than the "eh- mahn" factor, the island was amazing! The sand was white, the ocean was way blue and the sun was HOT! (Okay, so it wasn't THAT hot, but I thought I would rub it in.)
Apparently they sell a lot of rum and stuff at Rum Point... go figure!
For the Rum Point pic, we stopped in the middle of the road and took this picture..... luckily there weren't a lot of cars..... because if there were..... we weren't going to move until the picture was taken!
The Stingrays were everywhere!!!
While we were in Cayman, we went to a turtle farm, Stingray City, snorkled, lounged on the beaches and shopped. Stingray City was amazing! We snorkled at this way awesome reef! There were all kinds of fish that were neon and all kinds of vibrant, sweet colors! Then we went to the actual sting ray part and that was a little "different". A couple events happened while we were there: the stingrays and the stupid birds. When we got off the sailboat, there were sting rays everywhere; they swarmed us. These things are huge and they look like aliens. NO JOKE! Its a little freaky beacause everywhere you turn around its like Men in Black all over again. Then the stupid birds come into play. The sting ray man let all of us feed these rays some chopped up squid (ew) and I sat there like a zombie because I was so scared of the things. So I finally got the courage to feed the rays and as I am cautiously putting the nasty, slimy squid in the water, A BIRD, OUT OF NO WHERE came down, bit my hand and stole the food! Ok now seriously... WHAT KIND OF SICK TWISTED BIRD STEALS SQUID! Of all the nice pellets and berries you could find on the island, you HAVE to come fly a thousand miles just to steal a slimy, half masticated chunk of SQUID!.... stupid bird.....
And I thought the bird was gross......... Did I really marry this guy??? Needless to say the love life got a little dull after this incident....
The Highlight of "Our" Honeymoon
When they took Cinnabon out of the University Mall, I thought it had gone out of business which was a heartbreak for me because those are the best cinnamon rolls EVER! Anyways, when we were in the Charlotte airport, I saw some random lady with a cinnabon. Sadly, I had already had some hot cocoa and some sandwich from California Pizza Kitchen (yeah, I know, great diet). The last two days of our trip I constantly "re-assured" Mark that we would go to Cinnabon on our flight home. When we finally got to the Charlotte airport, the first thing I said was, "where's that cinnabon!". Mark said it was the highlight of "my" trip but I think deep down, it was the highlight of "our" trip.

Welcome to the blogging world, newest Monson family! Great post. Glad you guys had a fab time. The bird/sting ray incident would have put me in cardiac arrest- Dave can verify.
All I can say is that when Russ told me you had a blog, we were driving and I almost had him turn the car around back to our computer! Yahoo for your blog! Second, the bird story is funny. And third, it looked like your honeymoon was awesome! Welcome back to reality...dun, dun, dun... Oh, and Annie, I am going to need your cell phone number and email address now that this marriage business is official!
I think the highlight on my honeymoon was getting wooped by natj in "uno" on the plane ride home. Seriously, it was like 165 to 1. And she pretends to not be competative.
By joining the blogging world, Mark, you can be sure to hear the following comment at least 50 times a year. "Oh my gosh! I can't believe we forgot the camera, (Insert husband's name here)this won't be any fun if we don't have any pictures. We need to turn around right now." Upon realizing you will completely miss the event if you turn around, you turn around anyway, because why are you going if you can't blog it?
Yes, I'm a little worried that this blog thing is going to take over my whole life. Annie's already taking about blogging decorating the house...
I love your blog- I am soo jealous of your Carribean Honeymoon!!! You guys make such a great looking couple- i just can't wait to meet you!!!
